I am on the brink of 35,and I'm self-taught. (Though I've read so many books and tutorials I couldn't even begin to NAME everybody who taught me SOMETHING!) I obviously have a strong anime/manga influence, with a healthy dose of Wendy Pini and other assorted artists thrown in my style for texture. SHAMELESS PLEA: I spend a lot of time on each picture (10-20 hours), it can be frustrating to spend all that time on them and then only get 3 comments.... YOU make a difference! Let me know what you think, good/bad/ugly accepted. And yes, I STILL hate drawing feet.

Tristan Walling replies: "I know, the ol' gallery is sorta pathetic these days, as is TristanWalling.com, which just leads here. Life took a few turns a few years ago, and I haven't been all that into drawing Elves since the Lord of the Rings came out. My drawing skill has atrophied a bit, though I've been spending the past few years honing other equally useless talents, like guitar playing. I may yet take up doodling again, though I'll officially stop threatening to draw a comic book as of right now, it'll probably never happen."
