SciFi and Fantasy Art: Grodan o'Lillagh

Grodan and phoenix is the father of Framhorn Ayankh-Taiu and of Grelf, and as you may have guessed a character from 'Gryphon and Phoenix' again. Here you see him in his elvish shape. Its not usual that gryphons have brown skin like this on my worlds - usually they have a much more pale tan. Grodan is darker because he had a bad fever who changed his colour to brown and his earlier dark brown hair/feather colour to bright red. In his real shape he is now a red gryphon with green eyes. This more simple pic was made with Photshop and ink.

13 Sep 2004	Kristina 'Aryana' Siers	Loading... I know I said this for hundred times already, but - I like his costume! He looks a bit grumpy here...I'd like to see him in his gryphon shape! Uta ´Freawyn´ Hesse replies: "Thank you again! I have a picture of his gryphon shape. look into the CD again, search for Grodan and there is 1grodan.jpg or such. That shows him in both of his shapes."
20 Sep 2004	Kerstin ´kolibri´ Eiben	Loading... A fever that changes colours of skin and feathers - you have so many wonderful ideas for your characters! Grodan doesn't look quite happy about that - I hope the fever isn't dangerous... Uta ´Freawyn´ Hesse replies: "That fever is very dangerous. It can kill a gryphon, and it usually is in the DNS. Gladly meanwhile they have found something that stops it before it is too late. I don't know why Grodan here looks so grumpy. could be anything. I think its not the fever, that was long in the past..."
3 Oct 2004	Christel 'Kris' Scheja	Loading... Maybe Grodan looks so grumpy because he had one of the few(?) quarrels with his father. But it also shows, that he has earned some of the fiery blood of his grandfather Aldstan too. Uta ´Freawyn´ Hesse replies: "I think Grodan is more then just a brave knight. He is clever, and he likes to go own ways much more then it sometimes seems. Think of Grelf, or how he made Framhorn and Freawyn. It shows that he has his own ideas. But still Tibor respects him very much, because he knows if anything is wrong on Lillagh, Grodan is there. So the quarrles between them are more seldom then one thinks."
