SciFi and Fantasy Art: Winged Kionna

The lead female of my story 'Unicorn's Lair' gets wings for once! =D I don't like Kionna that much, but she's not so bad once you get to know her. ^_^; Oddly, she's the girl of the unicorns, but she's missing her horn(s) in this picture. Instead, she's got wings! =D Her neck is a bit elongagated, but . . . oh well. This is a nice big picture and since I wanted her wings to not cut off, the full version spans to another page because I ran out of room. She was drawn with either 0.3 or 0.5mm mechanical pencil and then CG coloured. Enjoy. =D

Ive seen better kionna pictures but not bad. The picture isnt devoted to kionna so much as Kionna's wings which are nice. The face is smiling but the hands are in a tense posture, shes also kneeling. I think it goes together fairly well even though those three elements kinda are conflicting. Her hand's kinda make her look determined but why is she kneeling. Its ok. Also its noticable that your trying to go out of your way to give her face a feminine look when she actually looks more attractive as a tom boy which is her real actual character. You should consider returning to a tom boyish kionna because that's who she really is. I mean she fights the special kiren style, shes no wimp, she hates taking a back seat to hatsu. If you want to bring out her real character then dont make her one of those damn pathetic submissive females.

WoW! I'm amazed by your wings. However do you manage to do so???? oh yeah - I know - anime figures tend to impress me alot the longer their hair, but this female's hair is definetly too long. It's okay she's got wings, but it has happened right? when she flies and accidently get stuck in a tree??? *LoL* Nah - only kidding!!! ;o)

Those wings! omg! They're wonderful! I really like her hair as well...but the pose you have her in is a little confusing. Her face looks happy, yet her hands are clenched? I dunno, but great work none the less!!

The wings are lovely, mi'dear. I love the way that you did them, with the feathers not smoothed down but standing on end as if angered or excited... Each one seems to add more life to the picture. I, like everyone else, am a little confused about the posture. Her face (which is a little long by the way but nonetheless beautiful) is joyous and yet her hands are balled into fists... I thought perhaps it looked as if she had won something... I like the way you made the posture but she is very thin and her hair is a bit long. nonetheless, BEAUTIFUL picture and the wings are breathtaking in their life.
