| 3 Sep 2002 | Wolfen Chaos | I do not often find artists who know of the Wamphyri, let alone ones this skilled. Most of them are on the Brian Lumley web site. This pic is rather good. your choice of keeping the wamphyri's features vague is an interesting twist i wouldn't have thought of. I myself am a fan of the Necroscope series, I have all but the final two from the last trilogy. It is so hard to find artwork depicting wamphyri. (i should know, i've been trying to find a pic for my rpg character for months) Would you happen to have any more Lumley inspired artwork? or more Wamphyri pics? feel free to e-mail me. | |
| 15 May 2003 | Alexander J. Harron | VERY effective, powerful and frightening. It captures the nocturnal, primordial horror of the Wamphyri. I relaly love this picture, indeed, one of the few Necroscope pictures I've seen here, and this is easily the best! | |
| 3 Nov 2003 | Grand Overlord Shaitain Countach Ferenczy | I find the picture to be a very good one, it is not often you find an artist that can capture the very essence of their choosen subject. The fact that you don't reveal the entire face reminds me of whenever anyone would talk to Faethor, most hated of the Wamphyri. But again, I find this picture to be one of the best I have seen. I commend you. | |
| 30 Dec 2003 | Lady Margolotta | Nice... I'm in the middle of the series | |
| 14 Jan 2004 | Anonymous | I love the Brian Lumley books. I have read them all, and the Necroscope Series was very good. I also like his Vampire World Series, with Nathan and Nestor after Harry died. I have been having a lot of trouble as well finding good artwork depicting the Wamphyri. If you know of any good sites, could you point me in the correct direction? This artwork is amazing, I love the shadows . In my mind I can see it coming alive, and it is very, very scary. Awesome job! | |

| 5 Aug 2004 | Angel_Of_Death_909 | I must say I love your work. Its very detailed and exact. Heh, for a long time now I feared only my substitute teacher and I actually read Brian Lumley's novels. No one I know has ever heard anything about Brian Lumley or his books. Its good to know there's other fans out there. Well, I'm two thirds done with "BloodWars", and cant seem to find any of his books anywhere else. Well, again I must say excellant work and keep it up. If any other Brian Lumley fans out there would like to contact me, use my email(which is also my AIM) or my Yahoo account, which is the same as the name I'm under now.

| 1 Aug 2006 | WildWindwolf | ahhh... there is one from this artist on Brian Lumley's site, but I think it is not as good as this one.
It is more detailed, and I think it removes the mystery of what the shadows hide on this one.
| 1 Aug 2006 | WildWindwolf | I have read the Lumley Wamphyri books and am a fan of them. This work does seem to do them justice.
www.brianlumley.com does carry some, and of the actual wamphyri pictures themselves I only find one there I would be able to say is in the same league as this one.
In an online game (Ambar) they all know who the wamphyri empire is. lol. Even in Another online game (annihilation X) I am beginning to make Ambar Wamphyri crew known some.
the very fact this picture is vague opens the door to which wamphyri lord or lady it is. The darkness is their element. I would like to see the artist try their hand at the vampire world's various areas.
