However, the shading seems to be really flat, a little too cartoony, ya know? And also, if the light source is behind him (that's what it looks like) he should be a lot more sillouetted.
I like the effect of having a lot of open space at the top of the picture though, it really accentuates the feeling that he is flying or about to fly.
