SciFi and Fantasy Art: Koratash City - Capital of Korash

Here is an example of how civilzation exists on this planet. Because of the vast tidal oceans - people are forced to live within and around the large mountains in the polar regions. They build circular self-contained cities around and inside the mountains in order to survive the harsh climate. If you look closely at the ring in the lower left portion of the image - you can even see some of the buildings...

The waves are just too big compared to the buildings that should be a whole city. The green of the terrain is too persistent for my taste. But i actually like the idea of this pic and the light settings too. Great atmosphere.
