SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sad And Hurt

I love the expression, and all the little butterflies. Her left hand does look a bit perculiar. I think because all the fingers are about the same length, and the thumb wouldn't be quite such a top view in that pose (it'd be more sideways on).

There's something not quite right about the left arm and hand, it looks almost like its bending the wrong way. Apart from that, fantastic. I love the facial expression. And I saw the tears straight away, I thought it was good that they were so subtle. Love your work.

After working on my homework now I just had a bit of time to really look at your site. Im at a loss for words... Heres what happened. I quickly needed to find an appropriate pic from the web to put on a profile of mine that pretty much describes who I am. I thought right away, no way will I find one that will come close to what represents me. I typed in "sad" on google images... and there I was. This describes me, sadness & pain, its been a hard life. Fantasy - I love fantasy... Rapunzel, Snow White, Rumplestiltskin, Sleeping Beauty, Ever After. My 2 most favs out of these: the picture book Rapunzel by Paul O. Zelinsky, & the movie Ever After starring Drew Barrymore. BTW, the girl you painted has a striking resemblance to me Thank you Ville. Amazing doesnt come close enough a word to describe your talent.

I'd love to see a detail pic of her face and hair. The small resolution doesn't come close to diong them justice.

Very nicely done! I love the way the face was done and the hair. The eye, for some reason sort of drew me to the picture. Love all the little subtle details (butterflys, flower in her hair).

wowee! very nice pic..however i beleive u actually took the real parts of a human body(ex. hands) and plased them with your hand-drawn pic....i can see u put those silver bracelet things to hide the marks between the real arm and the connection of the hand....anyways...overall AWESOME!!!!!!!
