SciFi and Fantasy Art: Black 'n White Vampire 1

This was a very hard 'drawing' to do....it took me 3 weeks. It's actually a thing called scratch board. It is cardboard with a layer of white gesso on it and then a layer of black ink. You get a needle and scratch it till you get to the white gesso ish. That's how I did this which made it hard since if I screwed up...that was EVERYTHING. BTW there is a blown up version at pricelessgames.com..

Ah, no comments on this yet?! *does the first comment shuffle* Well, I must say, it's stunning. And so creative, too, no wonder it took you that long. It's very beautiful. Keep up the great job!

Oh I hate those scratch board things!!! But this looks great! The effect you get from the scratchy texture is perfectly suited with this picture =) I think this is my fav from your gallery =)

:-) Sean J. Nichols replies: "Your fav? Wow! This was my first try and I am actually pretty satisfied with it. I'd do it again if I knew where to get the stuff.
