| 18 Jan 2005 | Andrea Lanzoni | Now I understand why sometimes I feel the ground trembling beyond my feet...Nice one,a really good tract! | |
| 26 Apr 2005 | Silver Blade | Hey Wayne great work. I just wanted to say i support your work totally its truly amazing and inspiring to see someone dare to express themselves mail me i want to get to know you x Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Thank you for the compliment. Enjoy it while you can because I suspect that the ERB will be doing away with a lot of it since the rules have changed so drastically. If you want to see my works that I can't post on Elfwood go to my home page at:http://gallery.y-hosting.net/user/darkfang " | |
| 12 Jul 2005 | Nelleke Pieters | hehe... and I thought fairies had too be sweet ^-^ I must say I like it much better this way XD Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Old stories from the 18th century tell of Fairies that can be very cruel toward humans as well as other races of beings. They also say that Fairy magic is the strongest magic in the world. ~_^" | |
| 20 Jul 2005 | Kevin G Hansen | Now that the Fae King has taught the elves a lesson who will protect them from the hord of humans who will hunt the fae and put them in traveling carnivals... who will keep the humans from plucking there wings and selling them as jewelry...hmmm.... I like the action and the story behing this gives it so much more power.... Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Fairies need no protection from them silly Elves. Fairy magic is the strongest magic in the world and more then a match for any silly human!! " | |
| 27 Jul 2005 | Butterfly of Doom | Is this a new piece? probably not.. I haven't been here in a while. Kind of an ironic titly huh? Faerie/Fairy King. Sounds a little weird but then again i think of faeries as the tiny thumbelina sized people. I really need to broaden my horizon but i like thinking thumb sized faeries live in the flowers of my garden. Anyhow... beautiful piece. What did you do this with? Pen or marker? sorry if the questions already been asked but I don't read the other comments. Beautifully done. Totally spiffy job! Keep up the spunky fury!Love the detail and protrayal of anger. Very nice. Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Well this Fairy isn't Thumbalina sized, he's about 6 inches tall. But there are many different races of Fairies. Some are so small they could sit on the head of a pin. But this guy is about as big as they get. I done it with a Fine Point Sharpy Magic Marker. " | |
| 16 Aug 2005 | Andrew Loyal | I would say that the posture of his wings takes a bit away from the power behind the image, and maybe if the dust was flowing more in sheets instead of a cloud.... if you understand any of what I was talking about, congrats, otherwise, im not an artist anyways so just forget this post unless someone else figures out what i was trying to say and can make it make more sense XD Wayne H. Hodge replies: "It's okay, I think I understand what you are trying to say. But when something comes down hard on dusty ground it stirs up a cloud of dust. Not a sheet. ;o)" | |
| 31 Jul 2006 | Charli Ashley *Nodge* Reynolds | Hell yeah, you tell 'em like it is, man! Question: is it Auberon, the fairy king of Shakespearean times? or do you have a name for him already? Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Thank you! I'm really glad you like this one. To answer your question, no, he's not Auberon. He's a fairy king from a world of my own creation and his name is Lazarus. " | |
| 13 Jun 2007 | Toby | I collect nude male fairy art. If Wayne H. Hodge will draw and or paint a fairy as good as his elves and vampires I will buy his art. What I see wrong with this one is...a fairy as strong as Hercules or the Hulk. What I like is the fact that Mr. Wayne Hodge is not affraid to draw the nude male. Most artists are terrified. Good work Wayne. Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Thank You. I'm glad you like my art. But I don't do much in the way of Fairy art. " | |
| 3 Nov 2007 | Robyn *Copperhead* Lee | Hi, Wayne. I'm back. Told you I would be when I got a little more time. Yes, I can definitely feel the earth tremble at his wrath. Can't say I blame him, either. This is really good...and would look really good in color, as well. Where can I go to see works that can not be published on Elfwood? I'd love to see what else you have. Although, since there haven't been many posts since 2005, and this image is still up, as are a few others, I'd say that the ERB is a little more lenient. Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Well, welcome back. Thak you for the compliment. I've never really had any trouble with the ERB as far as my nude art goes. I just have to watch and make surfe it's not very erotic. As for seeing art that I can't post here just click on my profile and then thn my homepage and you'll be taken to my gallery at PaperDemon. Some of my art is in my main gallery while others are behind the red curtain as they are adult in nature. *winks* " | |
| 30 Jan 2008 | Andy C. | Who woulda thought a fairy king could be so... butch, lol. Damn those elves!! (Personally I have a vendetta against the gnomes, but maybe that’s just me. Those creepy little ****ers!) Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Well my Fairies are butch just like my Elves. I just really don’t care much for the little skinny fem guys. I agree with you. There is something about a Gnome that gives me the willies. Did ya ever see that movie about them where they came to life at night and turned people to stone? Creepy little number it was. " | |
