Ah, honey. Never mind the prudish minds that visit. If they didn't want to see such things, they wouldn't be here. I've seen many of the same prudes comment on other galleries at different dates. So, if they are so against it, why do they come back? You have an awesome gallery, and I applaud the way you have handled some of the comments. I am a newbie to the woods...been here since March????? Or somewhere about there. I can probably determine how long by some of the comments left on my gallery. Lol. I've been through the galleries, but with so many there, it is hard to do all in one day, and if it hadn't been for the fact that you had posted new uploads? I probably wouldn't have found you until a year or so later. I will definitely check out your gallery into more depth just as soon as I get a free moment!

ok i dont have a problem with the gay material.
i am just wondering why do a majority of your pictures have the men naked?
is it just that you like it or..
im pretty sure not that many people were naked in sci fi

Wayne H. Hodge replies: "Hello. I’m glad you don’t have a problem with the gay material and I’m glad you like my art. As to your question, the answer is simple really. I can’t draw clothes worth a crap. I’ve tried for years and the secret to drawing good clothes has eluded me. So instead of putting everyone in loin clothes or briefs I just chose to leave them naked. Or I could put them all in superhero type costumes but I find that would get really boring as well since they aren’t super hero’s. So I’d rather leave them nude than try to put clothes on them and ruin the drawing. "

I read alot of the comments to your pictures now, and what i dont get is why people get so upset when they see a drawing of a nude man. They have no problem what so ever with all the nude women around on these pages tho. I love it, and i think it give a whole new reality to all the pictures! Keep up the good work

It won’t happen. If people like my art that is fine and if they don’t that is fine too. I’ve been drawing for 46 years and I’ve heard it all. I’ve developed a really thick skin when it comes to my art. While, like anyone else I enjoy praise, I also enjoy a really good critique too. So give me some idea as to what you’d like to see concerning the faces on my characters. =)"

Whoah, quite a lot of nude men in your gallery, and it’s not a bad thing at all. There are so many artists drawing and painting only nude women so it’s good to notice that some people do draw males and also do it well.
I like your style. Actually when I saw your gallery the first thing that came to my mind was Tom of Finland(Touko Laaksonen by his real name, but known better by that artist name of his), even though you have very different kind of style. But the thing you have in common with Tom is muscular masculine men. Often nude men and specially with a homosexual theme the men are drawn ’pretty’ and feminine. (Hope you get my point)
Oh and I love the colouring of Dark Incubus. I’d like to see more coloured pieces from you.
