Yack, keep away from me with that thing. It's pointy. And nicely shaded with lovely color blends, but pointy all the same! Nice job.

45 Dave Cripps replies: "Well if it wasn't so pointy it wouldn't be so fun to use....erm...."

This really did look like a photo in the thumbnail. I think it would be really rather fun to make.

45 Dave Cripps replies: "But what would you make it in? Real metal, poly clay or wood? Now there's a question."

Probably real metal because that's what I know the most about. Wood would probably be easier, but I've never worked with it before.

45 Dave Cripps replies: "Now you begin to scare me...if you can make it then please just show me a picture not the real thing...keep it away from moi."

The celts used to wield a weapon called the Gay Bolge. It was a foot-launched missile (yes, really) with a dozen or more spring-loaded barbs in the head. If it hit your enemy full in the stomach, it would, reportedly, rip him to shreds. A skilled warrior could 'throw' it accurately over a distance of 150 feet. I don't know for sure whether this weapon is just mythological, but I don't think so.

I'd love to see some visualisation of this weapon.

Possibly there was a T-bar on it that would fit snugly between the big and second toes. This might enable accurate, distant foot-launching.

45 Dave Cripps replies: "Assuming this weapon exists I'd like to see it in the flesh as it were. I'll get back to you on that... It wasn't like the old woomera launched spears of the Aborigonals was it?"

What a lovely, dangerous looking dagger. Does the shop have more, or was this the last one? XDD

45 Dave Cripps replies: "You want another one?! That does mean a dangerous midnight raid on the castle, avoiding the guards, various thingies and robbing the evil Lord.....How much?.... "

Ooooh, shiny.

45 Dave Cripps replies: "Look but don't touch. It's wired to an alarm.... well bell. And a hairy looking orc..."

Looks sufficiently deadly. 2

45 Dave Cripps replies: "Not instantly deadly. You need some fun if you’re an evil Chaotic murderer.... erm...."

I cant draw any swords or daggers that look real so im kinda envious right now! Love the pic and the discription!

58 Dave Cripps replies: "What was fun you ask the picture or thinking up the description? Both!"

:-) Dave Cripps replies: "The elegance and beauty of the dagger would be lost on the victim I think.
