SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Wizards Tower

'Looks like Rain Boss,' the youngster piped up, glancing at his master. 'Aye lad,' intoned the older man, 'best get washin' in.' Even wizards' have to do their washing! Yes it is dark, it was an overcast day and the view of England at the end of summer reveals the dark leaves of the trees waiting for autumn, the light green of spring and summer long since passed.

This remindes me of Monet because of the way you drew trees and water and so on...
but i dont understand why loundry(?!?)... Couldnt you just put some artifact like a orb or something....

41 Dave Cripps replies: "And a Wizards' washing is not an artifact?I could have put a dragon or even an orb or a telescope up there but what a great place for somthing really ordinary. You cant expect a wizard to expend magic in such a frivolous way as washing clothes!"

Amazing landscape. And I love the line of clothes drying too (I used the same idea in my "Crazy Wizard Castle", before seing yours).

1 Dave Cripps replies: "Id like to think that the landscape is amazing because it is real. But then unreal landscapes can be just as good. And washing lines on towers must be a good idea since the drying time must be quicker. Unless it rains..."

The washing line is so original! It's funny how people so often forget that wizards also need to hang out their washing once in a while 10
LOL yep.
The colours are great - I like the red tree in the middle of all the others. Your landscapes and scenery are really really good! ^^ I like them all!

45 Dave Cripps replies: "Now was that one just turning red or was it a red tinted tree? cant remember. Have to find the photo. Incidently just below that wall was a swimming pool with diving board LOL"

You can really paint! *pouts* I can't paint, like, at all. 8 this is so awesome!!! You do landscapes really well!

62 Dave Cripps replies: "If only my figures were as good *Grumble* I could try a hoss...*thinks and plots*"

Great picture! I like the various colors you used for the trees, and of course the view of the laundry atop the tower brings a smile. Good spot for catching a breeze, that's for certain!

45 Dave Cripps replies: "That's why wizards get paid the big money 'cos they're brainy. LOL!"
