| 3 Jan 2002 | Elizabeth Vegh <leia@spa...net> | Hi William! I enjoyed your gallery immensely. Firstly, you have an inate sense of composition, movement, posture, and pose. Your characters are vivid and unique. Most of your work here is inspirational. I can't begin to tell you how many new ideas I had while viewing your artworks. I emailed you at your currently listed email address concerning your work, (Check to see if your email address on the top of your gallery is correct and if not, email me at my address (see attached email)). | |

| 3 Jan 2002 | Goblin | OPs! ok, I admit, should've gone to Jordans gallery first. He does draw in photoshop. So, what is his problem then? Jealousy? | |
| 3 Jan 2002 | Goblin | Jordan....I understand that that is your opinion, but as a computer graphincs artist who was just assing by the gallery, I have to say.... Jordan, we are living in a new age- the age of computers. Or would you say, then, that an artist is relying too much on pencil for encil utlines? Watercolors for watercolor pictures? Comuters are a media. A comfortable one to use, at that, but still just a a media. And it does allow you to do a lot of things you would not be able to do in "traditional" mediums. And it would often take ages to paint picture that one can paint in photoshop in a few hours in traditional mediums.BTW, have you ever drawn n photoshop? Just asking. William! Your pics are great, I especially like the Count one. While some of the faces are a bit mesed up, you are great at coloring stuff and really rendering it 3d. you are really good with photoshop, so go for it! I know you cannot update elfwood right now, but I hope ton see some updates when you can. Keep on drawing! | |
| 4 Jan 2002 | Anneke Hut | Hello William, I'd like to invite you to join the Garden hub. It's an art community project, which basically consists of a glorified link page of sorts and serves to take up the slack when Elfwood goes down or is temporarily unusable due to administrative action. Most of us miss e-mail or homepage addresses of friends when they can't go to the Elfwood bio's. The Garden could be a good place to find them then! Please ask all your friends to join too! The site is new and we have a slowly growing editorial staff who will be overseeing administrative decisions, so it won't be a singular project but rather a coordinated effort. It would be great if you would submit your galleries to our flowery garden! See you in The Garden. The address is:

| 9 Jan 2002 | Will | Thanks for commenting on my works here at Elfwood, it's nice to get feed back, good or bad. I realize that some artist do not like computers to render their artwork. Computers offer me some thing I didn't have in a conventional method of producing art, time. Working has taken too much of my free time away from my artwork, computers allow me to produce artwork claener and faster. I have also found that they allow you more control over your work, but you must learn to use this new tool. Some artist might find working on the computer daunting, but they're missing out on the power of computer art. Sure, at first you find that you can't easily reproduce your natural medias, but later after much practice you polish your techniques and begin down a new road to the world of computer art. I too am at fault for not practicing as much as I used too, I doo have some more recent works that I will post when things are back to normal here. later all... | |
| 3 Mar 2002 | Michael Allan Mueller | Your colouring is good. But you should think about working on your characters' structure. They all look 2d. Try drawing what you don't see too. It helps. If your drawings had good structure they would look excellent with the colouring they now have. | |
| 24 Oct 2004 | Art Critic | First, all your pictures are basically the same. Try widening your horizons and using your imagination more. Second, you need to work on your character's anatomy. Most of the women look like Jay Leno (no offense) and they're not porportional to the rest of their body (espeically their feet!) | |
