| 17 Nov 2006 | Only_me | As you've heard many times your art is stunning. Just one question, how much time did you spend on this piece? Maria J. William replies: "Thank you. Probably about 16 hours, I never really count when I draw." | |
| 7 Feb 2007 | Buddha | Very impressive, specially the use of shading to caption light. I began drawing 2 years ago, and I still think my drawing are unperfect, and cartoon looking, I cant get the detailed lighting, and shadows yet! | |
| 22 Jul 2007 | Monica *Volcanokitten* Christensen | Absoloutely beautiful shading of the body. It looks like a photo. | |

| 26 Mar 2008 | Claire | WOW...even tho she is in the nude this picture seems clean...one question tho...what IS a mechanical pencil...?? Maria J. William replies: "It’s a kind of pen that holds very thin graphite leads (0.5 to 0.9 mm). Good for details. " | |
| 23 Aug 2008 | Anon. | I wanna see the faces of the two picture! why did u cut off the rest of the face???? Maria J. William replies: "The face is not cut off; you’re seeing the drawing as it is. This entire series was conceived this way. The idea is to show an emotion/concept entirely through body language. Initially the entire head was cut off but that looked wrong, so I added the bottom part of the face." | |
