| 4 Nov 2000 | Lyndell Stout | WOw!! This is tight my man. I like her body...nice breats and I like the overall feel of the pic. I guess that's due to the Bryce software product. Regardless, nice pic.Thanks. The body was made in Poser, all the objects(sword, coins, pottery) were built in 3D Studio, Bryce created the atmosphere, textures, lighting... | |
| 2 Dec 2000 | Daniel | You are a great artist with traditional media I can tell. But please don't degrade yourself by using Bryce and Poser, no matter what you do with them you can't go wrong. That sucks! The idea behind the image is good, but learn some sort of other 3D software, for instance 3D Studio MAX. (In my book Bry and Pos is equal to cheating) | |
| 25 Apr 2001 | Annie O | Daniel, lots of people "go wrong" using Bryce and Poser. Like any tool, it is the aesthetic quality that an artist brings to a piece that makes it "right"... that and talent, hard work and lots of practice... the work in this gallery is really special because the artist has all of the qualities above, in spades.Yes! All one needs do is browse some of the 3D art sites and you will see mostly average-looking Poser art. My goal has always been to create CG art that doesn't look 'fake'. | |
| 2 Sep 2001 | The Koz | Be that as it may, all you have actually created in this image looks fake- using other people's models because they're well made and then calling the end-product your art is simple plagiarizing. Hold it. Which of these models was created by someone else? Name it. Everything in this image was built by me from the ground up. The only model that was not, is the woman (she is part of the Poser 4 package). I did, however, create a new texture map for her body and added the horns, chain and jewelry( all created by me in 3D Studio MAX). So, I haven't used anyone elses models in this image, my friend. I'd say this image qualifies as 'my art'. Possibly a little research on your part would be helpful before you start throwing around accusations, eh? Plagiarism? I think not. | |

| 7 Jan 2004 | Lindzi V. Sayles | I don't know why people don't appreciate art made on bycre, it is still art and is still made with alot of effort by the artist. It's not easy i have bycre and it is really hard, i gave up, traditional methods are much easier i think. Anyway i like that woman/creature thing, does she have a name? | |
| 14 Jun 2004 | Jonathon 'blue god' Kruger | Hey, hey, I agree. Bryce and Poser are tools not to be used by any serious artist. I think pencils are kind of cheating, too. I mean, they have all that graphite in one spot. Down with pencils! William J. Kenney replies: "Hell, down with Metacarpals!" | |
