| 14 Jun 2004 | Mystiqal | Listen: your picture looks allot Magic the Gatherings "Phyrexian Plaguelord". That card was illustrated by Kev Walker, who is a great artist. I like his art, but I must say your "Min Flayer" looks a bit less... scary, wich is good, don't get me wrong. Just take a look at "Phyrexian Plaguelord" and you'll see what I'm talking about. William J. Kenney replies: "I must admit, I have never seen this card but I will definitely be on the lookout for it. Kev Walker, eh? I'll check his stuff out. Thank you." | |
| 14 Jun 2004 | Oliver Jöhnk | This picture makes two things clear. At first the experiment worked just perfect and second you should continue with it. Awesoem picture! William J. Kenney replies: "I thank you for your comment. Yeah, the moderators choice award has inspired me to continue in this direction. Thanks to Elfwood for that..." | |
| 14 Jun 2004 | The lady raveyon sojoorro | AAHHH! LOOK OUT! Its a magic yeilding zoidberg from Futurama! I'm sorry, I just had to say that. I love the way you use colors. Amazing, really! William J. Kenney replies: "Magic yielding zoidberg.... ok, that's next on the drawing board...." | |
| 14 Jun 2004 | Jenny 'Dumpysaurus' Barnes | I say this at the risk of sounding like an oblivious twit, but how Lovecraftian he looks! I like the color choices, too. His gloves are also keen! William J. Kenney replies: "Yeah, anything with tentacles can be considered Lovecraftian I guess. Yeah, I killed him and stole his gloves. Hey, I'm pretty tough...." | |
| 14 Jun 2004 | Niall Midgar | ironically, i just got done fighting a mind flayers and his minions in BG2, amazing picture William J. Kenney replies: "Thanks. Maybe they'll hire me to work on BG3?" | |
| 14 Jun 2004 | Christina Kaiser | Ohh so that was it what we met at our last RPG-night ^^''' Good to know... Anyway you got a very nice style. very realistic, and I like your choice of colors ^^ V. William J. Kenney replies: "Yeah, that's what you met alright. Are you all still among the living?" | |
| 15 Jun 2004 | Kat | err...the detail is phenomenal and great work on the effects and colouring.but I just cant get past the whole giant squid with arms and legs(and clothes for that matter)! | |
| 16 Jun 2004 | Christina Kaiser | ^^ Well we survived it. It was only meant to be a reason for our Master to get us out of the underdark. So we ended up on a ship, in the middle of a storm. Mine and another Dwarf were very happy about it... kinda ^^'''

| 17 Jun 2004 | Maina Skarner | Not often i see a drawing of a mind flayer. Although this doesn't look a lot like any of the other drawings i've seen before it's easy to see what it is. I like it alot. Well done. | |
| 18 Jun 2004 | ManiacMan | You know what, I first saw this on the mini live, and I was going to post the first comment, about how it was so good, and would probably get mod's choice. Anyway, was this a scan? - if so, I thought it would be sort of cool to see the pencil (uncoloured). Unless you did it completely digital (a feet in my mind).
Also, just wondering: how long did this take to colour, i've been thinking of trying it out too (admitedly, after seeing this). | |
