SciFi and Fantasy Art: Beta Temple (concept)

This is the concept rendering of the final product, which is part of an animation. It looks different with an atmoshpere (no spotlighting) and a landscape, but this one was just too cool to hold back until I'm done with it ^_^

I like this image a great deal. In particular, the design of the temple and the lighting carry your attention from the entrance over to the pool, making the pool very clearly the focus of this temple. What software did you use to make this?

That is so neat, what kind of program did you create this with? "I really need a decent art program" It is gorgeous, er thats probably spelled wrong oh well.
