SciFi and Fantasy Art: Valen Frost

A request pic I did. Valen is supposed to be dark and bitter in nature, after his family was destroyed by vampires. He is a character of Winterheart, who has a story about Valen which I pretty much know nothing about... ;P This pic is very simple and straight forward pose-wise and coloring-wise, because I was using it to 'test-drive' the painter program. The only objective I had was to present Valen with a vengeful look, and a very dark sense to the overall pic. The program seems to be very powerful, and I have yet to figure out how all the buttons work. I did have to end up using photoshop to do some miscellanous touch ups on the pic however...

18 Sep 2005	Winterheart	Loading... Hey Wing, It's been a long time. I still love the picture that you drew of Valen for me. Whenever I picture him as I write my story, it's exactly how you drew him: all scruffy and vengeful with that "Get out of my face" attitude. I still haven't finished the story (nor do I have it posted online), but it's turned into quite an epic. You are a very talented person. ;-)
