SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lady of the Acoma

Lady Mara, main character of the excellent Empire trilogy written by Raymond Feist and Janny Wurts. The people as described in the series never struck me as Asian as it's often visualized in fanart, I felt it was more of a mix between Asian and things like the ancient Aztec and Greek/Roman cultures. Mara is one of my favourite book characters, her story is very well written and if you haven't, do go read the series.

All done in photoshop, no reference.

PLEASE do NOT use this picture for online purposes like forum avatars, RPG portraits etc. Printing and using for pen-and-paper RPG's, desktop wallpapers, diary decorating etc. is fine. Thanks.
