| 20 Nov 2000 | Vince L | If the fishes took ya so long, why did you draw em? Anyway, the fish in my opinion, are a great touch. The pic kicks a** keep drawing like this! | |
| 25 Nov 2000 | Ant | I see you went through a great deal trying to conceal her... ahem.. Well you get the picture. Cool pic dude! | |
| 4 Jan 2001 | Just Pierce McDowell | It's like an manga-ized version of Disney's mermaid. Very story-book look. Come check out my gallery for a *ahem* modernized version of dear Ariel. | |
| 29 Apr 2001 | Corinna Fanshier | She's cute! And the background is sooo cute! | |
| 21 May 2001 | | ARGH... pet peeve time... mermaids are part fish, and FISH DON'T HAVE KNEES! Remember, if a fish couldn't bend that way, thena mermaid shouldn't, otherwise it ends up looking like a chick in a mermaid costume :\ (Other than that, she's adorable!) Yes, yes... I have to admit it. I sacrificed common sense just to make the composition looks better. I was working with a copy paper, and if I extend the tail, then the end of it would have been lost. So, I hope you will forgive me here. ^^; | |
| 29 Nov 2001 | Julie 'Jewel' Crowley | ^___^ *prances in and smacks last commenter* personally, i think the tail (below the hips, between the top of the thigh and knee) would be a combination of both fish and human parts, so it'd be fishy scales and connected boniness, but it'd still partailly act like human knees. Anyway, the picture looks really great ^_^ the colors are soft and pretty, but i think it'd look a lot better if it had either a more bold outline, or more dramatic shading. Good job! | |
| 29 Jul 2002 | Kitten Claws | heh. I like the... er, fish... yeah. Anywho, ariel was only 16, I think, (Disney animaters are one step from being total chikan) but she still is younger, yes. Doesn't look it (Manga's funny that way | |
| 16 Jul 2004 | Anonymous | I like the tail better with the bend in it, actually. | |
| 20 Dec 2005 | Nonnac | Some very convenient fish | |
