| 30 Nov 2001 | Noah M. Hughes | I like all of the role-playing game and comic book references in your artwork; I can really identify with it. And your style is great too. I admire the detail on all of the character's clothes. | |
| 1 Oct 2002 | Anonymous | Hmm... I stumbled upon your work just a moment ago and I'm amazed at how reminiscent it is of a guy I used to know who lived across the street from me who did little more than drink his old man's Lowenbrau behind his house, fawn over a girl named Krista, doodle in German class and play with anarchist DMs and wussy elves named Twillabee... although, come to think of it, he did teach me how to pronounce Oberwesel and got me sick playing quarters on cow-brau in Hahn... I think you must've stolen and scanned his work. You couldn't come close to that guy, cuz he had _way_ more talent...
LOL ... I did "little more than drink Löwenbrau", huh? Well what else was there?
Seriously, I'm having a hard time figuring out who you are ... most of my friends that are smart enough to figure out this here internet thingy, probably didn't drink with me. Those that did party prolly don't have computers ... heh! Anyway, give me some more clues ... or you could just tell me ... or drop me eMail.
Hope to hear from you soon, Gary!
*psst* Am I right? | |
| 3 Oct 2002 | G-man | Hmm, the man not only has a pencil and wit as sharp as any blade, but it seems his skills at deduction aren't quite as dull as I'd surmised either... (grin) By the way, I remember clearly a few times that you swiped your pater's brau and you, me, Chris Cathers and Dave Barry hung out behind your house at the swings trying to avoid the MPs... and not always being successful.
Hmmm ... I don't seem to remember the beer gatherings as well as you do. Perhaps this is proof of my attendance. Then again, you were the one who head-butted lockers ... mayhaps your recall is a bit ... um ... fanciful.
I do remember getting pulled over by the SPs after a movie because you were "chicken walking" behind some girls .... ROFLMOA!
| 8 Oct 2002 | G-man | Ohhhh, yeeeaaaahhh... I tried hard to forget that humilating incident. Thank you. I disgorged an inordinate amount of wordage under Krimskel. I apologize to both him and you. Maybe email would be easier...
Heh, don't worry about Krimskell. He's a survivor. 'Member when we all got capture/killed by another (NPC) party that was attempting to complete the same task? Krimskell, left everyone for dead. Sorry about that ... Chaotic Neutral and all. *chuckles*
| 22 Oct 2002 | G-man | Oh, yeahhhh... grrr. I DO remember that now. That was NOT a very nice thing to do... (BTW, only Dave would kill us outright by one of his NPC parties)
Yeah, I sure learned how to roll up a character in no time flat, with all the practice I got.
Hey, do you recall who I was playing at the time?
I don't remember for sure. The two PCs I remeber you playing for sure is 1) A (halfling?) thief that was eventually killed by Dave's Cavalier PC ... see? He wasn't just abusing his power as a DM. You were going to die anyway. Heh, Heh. Boy he had some issues, huh? and 2)An (elf?) that your you gave Lunacy to during character creation. Later you got some other disease and when the cleric healed you it seemed not to work. Actually, he cured your lunacy, but no one knew you had it to begin with ... *sigh*
I remember something about you jumping over someone and katar-ing him from behind and some big rocks and trees around, but that's it...
What I rember is this: we were all captured (except for the dead ones) and Krimskell was fast-taking his @$$ off. The elvish archer who was the group leader fired an arrow in the ground some distance infront of him. He told me to start running. I did. He walked to the arrow, drew it from the ground and fired. I had to make a DEX check or something. Dispite whatever "minuses" Dave gave, Krimskell, with his 21 DEX, made it! (No mean feat, when one considers the mortality reate of PCs in Dave's campaigns). He was never seen again ... and he lived happily ever after.
