Hey I like you rendering techniques and I am fasinated by your choice of colors in this eye. That said it seems your anatomy skill are not on the same level as your coloring skills. Many people think that if they are good at one thing then it's ok to lack a great deal in the other. In your attempt to add detail you've gone over board and it stands out too much perticually aroud the eye lash and eyebrows.
Think of the eye lashes as a single solid line and then add A FEW protruding lashes. Non of this individual line stuff. Also it is thinner closer to the nose an thicker closer to the edge of the face.
Another thing take a closer look in the mirror when you get a chance. You left something out that is hardly notice until you don't put it in. Its the edge of the eye lid. The section of the eyelid where the top lid touches the bottom lid when the eyes are closed. There is thickness there and even though you may not draw it in a mid or far away pose it is crusial that it is there in extreme close ups. Oh by the way its color is slightly more redish pink then the eyelid.
One more thing. Well two more things on the eye itself. The secton closest to the nose, the area the you colored in black, is called the inner canthus and it is the same color as the eyelid edge with a tiny nub in it. Check the mirror you'll see what I'm talking about.
I like how you recognized that eyebrow hair points toward the outter portion of the face good catch. BUT you put to much hair folicals in it much like the eyelid. Sometimes less is more and think big shape then add in a small amount of hair folicals here and there and let the viewers mind make up the rest of the hair. Trust me this works and it save time to.
Last thing, promise. The highlight/s in the eye are a bit off. I know this is nit picking but call this a friendly tip, no charge. When light enters and eye from a certain angle it hits the nodes and cones and bounces back out in the oposite direction. It is the oposite point that the highlight is made. The only time when you have multiple hightligts is when you have multiple light sources like inside an office building (floresent lighting).
I think over all you have a lot of potential and perseption. Keep up the good work.
