| 15 Dec 2000 | aweaver | If you are interested in more HP lovecraft type stuff, check out Brian Lumly and his titus crowe series. In one of his books, the hero gets to fly by the home of the hounds of tindalos. | |
| 29 Dec 2000 | ded | I can't believe I'm giving lectures and not checking my spellink. Good luck again. D. (I'll be more polite this time) | |
| 29 Dec 2000 | Ded | Okay - nice stuff in general - BUT, the Tindalos thing is a bit literal. If you genuinely are interested in old HP, take a look at some Chaosium gear and artists like Bob Naismith. If you realy want to get into this kind of horror/fantasy illustration try for your first feeling and work in imagary you find unsettling. This is how most Lovecraftian authors seem to work. Soory about the lecture! I admire anyone who puts their work up for scrutiny, but can't help sticking my oar in. Good luck. D. | |

| 8 Apr 2006 | Hekai | Actually, Helen didn't know she was drawing a Hound of Tindalos, at the time. It was for a Werewolf/Hound/Indian Mythos game, and she far exceeded the deliberately-vague brief I gave her. Only later did I show her the relevant tales... | |
