SciFi and Fantasy Art: In Memoriam

For lost ones.
This is unfinished, --some touching up needs to be done and I'm considering converting this to grayscale-- there's another name that is to be added so, I am in no hurry to finish and declare this piece done.
Pencil and Photoshop 7.0
Completed November 8th, 2002. Snowy passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Sorry about your poor hammies. One of my dwarfies died in january, but she's still in the freezer. Hamsicle, anyone?

Adorable. Really. Somehow it makes me think of "Redwall" and those books. I expect him to pull out a light sabre and start laying out the evil attacking kangaroo mice. He/she seems to be a hero. Very meek and humble, and sorely missed.

Aww, that's so cute. I lost my little hammy-hamster in November. That was a terrible day. 8 Love the pic. Really emotional.

I really love this. The fur is extremely realstic... What did you use to color this? (real media (?), what kind of program)
I am sorry for your loss. May they forever rest in hamster-land.

PS- Thank you so much for your GREAT comments!!!

Ooooo don't say that! My big, white, fluffy dog is named Snowy! *Sniff* Oh that would suck. Anyway, other than that, very nice picture. I envy and so on, girly! Nice color...very...um...sorrowful I guess, I can say. Whoo!

:-) Jessica Ng replies: "I don't remember if this was before or after I started having e-mail problems, in any case I don't think I replied (couldn't collect mail via POP3 somewhere in the middle of November, since then I've been checking via website). Aw, I didn't mean to make you sad. *hug* But I'm glad you like the picture and thank you for the comment. How is big, white, fluffy Snowy? 2"
