SciFi and Fantasy Art: Griffin

A powerful looking griffin as well! Nice anatomy... especially the head and beak. (Wouldn't want to make HIM mad.)

Heroes 3's better! *GG* Mostly because the Griffin unit's in the Castle rather than some evil town. This gryph's forelegs look remarkably fuzzy... was that a scan artfact, or was it intended that way? It seems to fade to the right and down. Is that another scan thing? Eek, nonretracted claws on the feet! I bet they catch on the carpet. I really like the pattern of light and dark around the eye. It gives this gryph character and brings attention to the face right away. At the bottom of the wing, I can see where the outline wasn't erased. It makes the feathers look like they're just painted on. Does the neck look too long to anyone else? Seems to be approaching draconic proportions. Hum, that's about it. An overall Good Drawing!
