Alias: Darkshade

Power: The ability to control shadows in any way: Shape them into solid objects (weapons, disposable sidekicks or even a chair if she feels the need to put her feet up during crime fighting ^_^), use them as a sort of force blast or (her personal favorite) form them into wings that gives her the ability to fly.

Weakness: Light, any kind of light at all. Embarrassingly enough even a simple thing like the beam of a flashlight can totally dissolve her grip of a shadow object she’s controlling. Light itself does not hurt her but it can be pretty dangerous if she finds herself high up in the air without any wings because of some light hitting her.

Origin of Powers: An accident occurred in the lab where she worked with trying to extract energy from a kind of solar panel that was supposed to work a night time. Lightning struck the panel she was working on and fried her a bit crispy around the edges. She discovered her powers while she was recuperating from her injuries.

Secret Identity:The company she worked for gave her a heap of money so she wouldn’t sue them for making her work in high places during a thunderstorm = she does not need to work for the time being. When anybody asks her what she does all days long she just explain that she sleeps all day long because she’s writing a book and she works best at night (which is sort of true after all, just change "writing a book" with "fighting crimes" ^_^).
