Discuss Elfwood News Entry: Guided Tours revamped

The popular guided tours function (http://www.elfwood.com/tours2/) at Elfwood has been revamped.

The tours are now automatically cleaned up for broken links, so no more 'page not found' when browsing tours!

Also, the problem with having tour stop at Elfwood Patron material is gone.

That’s great - thanks! It seems that tour thumbnails aren’t affected by these spiffy improvements though. If you look at the section with the 5 most popular tours you’ll see a couple of thumbnails still consisting of missing pictures. Maybe that could be fixed too.

:-) Thomas F Abrahamsson replies: "Well, if the tour stop that was used as the thumbnail for the entire tour has disappear, that is a fallback solution. Maybe another tour stop should be auto-picked, not sure..."

Ah, very good! That broken-links thing was getting really annoying, and I think a lot of people forget to click "stop" at the end to vote. Voting is important.
