~~but the buttons at the top right aren’t working.Underline
~~and you have to write the tags yourself. Monica Volcanokitten Figgé Jensen
replies: "I signed into your account and tested bold, italics, colour and underline when writing a comment and they all worked fine. Since you’re having problems I assume it might be a browser problem. What browser are you using? The browser that works best with Elfwood is Firefox, which I personally use. Although I did test the comment function in Internet Explorer as well."

I use Firefox.
Selecting here for bold gets me nothing
No, no change. Tags might work
, but the paint/mark ability isn’t working here or in Keepsakes IV Monica Volcanokitten Figgé Jensen
replies: "Hmmm...odd. What do you mean by selecting? If you mark the text and click the buttons, then nothing happens. You shouldn’t mark the text. Either just type the text and then hit the button, which makes all of it bold or whatever button you click. If you only want part of the text to be bold, then hit the button first and then write the text within the tags. Then write the text you don’t want to be bold."

Ah, that is not what I’ve done in the past. I have always marked the word or phrase I wanted changed, just as the instructions say to do
, and it became bold or underlined.
Instructions, accessed under the question mark in the right hand corner of the ’write in the guestbook...’: The formatting options gives you a way to put style and color to your messages at the Elfwood guestbooks.
Select (mark) some text and then click one of the Bold (
, Italic (I) or underline (U) styles, or click the color selector to show a palette.
Until recently, I never had to write tags in a guest book ~~ and that’s why I consider this a problem.
and I NEVER use smiley faces. That just popped in. I disclaim all responsibility for it. Monica Volcanokitten Figgé Jensen

Hi, I´d like to publish some stories, but I accidentally marked that I "SF&F" button and I think that this is only for artworks. Can you change my profile that I’ll be able to publish my stories? (Or you can delete it and I can create it one more time) Thanks a lot! You can contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org. Monica Volcanokitten Figgé Jensen
replies: "You just go to "Account Tools" under "My Account". There you can downgrade your account and afterwards upgrade it and choose Wyvern’s Library. Then you’re ready to start uploading."

Oh, right. The spam button. Forgot, but there’s no such button available for me in OTHER members galleries. I was just helping out a fellow member in this case. I would’ve surely made the mistake regardless, so thanks for the reminder. No worries, I will surely forget about it again and continue to bug you about it in teh future.
Side note: from a psychological point of view I feel very reluctant to press a button with the word "spam" on it. It’s like; do I get spam or do I send spam to someone. A button saying "KILL SPAM" would make me feel lots more comfortable and satisfied, but that’s just silly morbid little me.
...if it had said "KILL SPAMMER" I guess I’d be homicidal, but would I be wrong..? Monica Volcanokitten Figgé Jensen
replies: "You’re never bugging me So feel free to continue to contact me. I guess it’s just Staff that can see the Spam button in other members galleries then."

Hello, I’ve been wanting to become a Moderator. I love to read stories especially, however since the support is currently down, how do I go about doing this? I’ve been part of Elfwood for almost 10 years and I’d love to help out any way I can! Thanks!
