Discuss Elfwood News Entry: Cleaning up the FARP

I am currently cleaning up all FARP articles, making sure they are readable and follow a shared style, and that they're acredited to the right elfwood member and placed in the right area, etc, etc.

This will take a while, but I am already through all of the Art sections, now working with the writers section.

I have noticed that the FARP area has lagged behind, that's why I am doing this. The next step would be to implement a new process on how to get new articles in place, etc.

Hi! I can’t find the best hair-drawing tutorial I have ever seen on the Internet! Have you deleted it? That would be such a shame... But otherwise it is a great idea to get the tutorials updated...

I just wondered if it is possible for me to rewrite an old article I had published in FARP. I keep reading it and thinking I should edit out the mistakes (grammar and spelling errors mainly, some factual items that need updating)... Could I?

I have posted to the WFR Guild Members page that it will be a requirement beginning in 2008 that Journeyers and Master Artisans of the Guild will be required to put in on the Elfwood FARP project on literature- and/or writing-oriented projects here.

To Crissy: I believe that if you have an account on here, and have updated it to log on properly, you should have complete control over the pages to edit your old posting, and my suggestion would be to do so with haste and authority. 12

The FARP is a great project, Thomas, and I’m glad it’s here for us. I think sometimes the people of this world do not often appreciate the amazing things they have in front of them. Thanks for the site, and for the FARP. The Guild fully supports this function of the online community, and I would be more than happy to keep things flowing freely between the Wood and Town. Good trade, that way. 12

Best wishes,
-will (xidoraven)
