After several weeks of intense development, Elfwood is introducing a new way to support Elfwood - Patron Membership.

An animated icon contest would be unfair, since for some reason, the animated icon editor doesn’t work for me. The Save button simply does nothing D;

Anyway, I don’t like the way things are going. If the site gets a bit commercial, alright, I guess that’s how large sites must work these days. But do people really need to get attracted by blinking icons and animated stuff all over the place? I think Elfwood is losing some of its style. When I think of Lothlorien, I don’t think of Elves in glittering dresses, engraving funny smilies into trees.

I adblocked all icons and the stardust, and things look a lot better now. [*insert grudge smiley of angry troll here*]
