The Elfwood Rules / The 10 common sense rules

New and improved - for those with short attention spans - we present the ABRIDGED version of the Elfwood rules! The full rules are still available below, of course. For the basic DO's and DON'T's of Elfwood, read these. If you need some clarification on what exactly these rules mean, then read the full version.

The first thing we want for you to keep in mind isn't a rule, really. It's more of a reminder and a request... Elfwood is a service that is provided to you FREE OF CHARGE. It's run by a team of unpaid volunteers that work hard to make everyone happy, and to keep Elfwood running smoothly.

Please, enjoy Elfwood. Enjoy all that it has to offer. Just remember - use this service with respect.

1	Your artwork and/or writing must be 100% your own work.Collaborations are only allowed if both parties fully agree with the material being post online. (need more info?)
2	Elfwood was created with several sections. Art is meant to go in the RIGHT section. Art that is not in the appropriate section will be removed. (need more info?)
3	Elfwood will NOT be held responsible for anything you put on your page. Elfwood will not be held responsible for any inconvenience that may occur if your gallery gets deleted, stolen, abused or is otherwise unavailable to you. (need more info?)
4	Only people who provide a FULL legal name (First names are allowed to be abbreviated or initialed) and are at least 13 years of age will be permitted to join Elfwood. Shared galleries are not permitted. (need more info?)
5	Certain things will never be allowed within any area of Elfwood. These include (but are not limited to): Porn, Celebrity art, direct tracings or copies, pictures on lined paper, bad quality scans and stick-figure art. (need more info?)
6	Don't swear, post anything offensive, or do anything that makes your Elfwood space unpleasant to look at. If it wouldn't be appropriate in a public forum, it's not appropriate here. (need more info?)
7	There must be a minimum of four (4) images fitting the area theme in your gallery. These four images must be unique works, not different versions of the same thing. (need more info?)
8	There must be a minimum of two (2) stories/poems fitting the theme of the library. All stories/poems must follow the theme. Plagiarism, fanfiction, erotica, and vulgarities are strictly forbidden in the Wyvern's Library. (need more info?)
9	Fan art is allowed only in the FanQuarter. Fan fiction is NEVER allowed. Copies of existing images are NOT fanart - they are copies and they are NOT allowed in any area of Elfwood. (need more info?)
10	Have fun! Remember - you should ENJOY Elfwood. Have fun, comment on other guestbooks, start discussions on the chats and mailing lists, etc...
