The Elfwood Review Board Homepage
Home of the Elfwood Rules & regulations

There are two ways an artwork or story can come to our attention:
- It is reported by those who browse galleries/libraries; or
- ERB personnel discover it during routine screening.
The artist/writer will be contacted and given a week to remove
the
offending material. In some obvious or excessive cases, the item will be
removed before the artist/writer is informed.
Failure to comply... Failure to comply with ERB decision
or respond to our emails will result in us removing the material for you. If
you do not make the required changes to your gallery space OR our automated
art removal causes the number of images/stories to fall below the required minimum
for publishing, your gallery/library will be disabled until the problems are
fixed. This may include removing whatever the ERB has pointed out, or uploading
new material to reach the minimum. Hit "Publish Changes" like you
would in a normal update, and you should be back in Elfwood, likely in the next
available gallery space. If a gallery/library remains disabled for 2 months,
it will be deleted.
The one (1) week removal queue... In
some cases of material theft, the material will be placed on the 1-Week Removal
Queue while the alleged thief will be given that duration of time to defend
himself and provide us with evidence supporting his case. In other cases, we
just delete it immediately. In cases of offensive behavior or harassment directed
at Elfwood Members or Administrators, the perpetrator will be given ONE (1)
warning. If the harassment is repeated regardless, the person's galleries/library
will be deleted and he will be banned from posting, commenting and rejoining
Elfwood.
In order to maintain site integrity, we ask that you respect
our
decisions regarding your gallery/library. We do not make exceptions.
We don't usually reply to those who have filed a report. We
may in some cases reply to ask for or make a clarification. We may answer as
a follow-up to your report (especially in material theft cases). Most of the
time, we take the appropriate action on your report and move on to the next
one. So don't be discouraged or think you've been ignored if we don't answer.
Just keep the reports coming!
