FanArt: Second Task

Old picture.  Harry Potter illustration- Scene from GoF where Harry's dragging his hostages to the surface. First full color attempt at an 'underwater' type drawing. This was drawn in 2000 or 2001, and printed in Movie Magic Magazine in spring 2005.

I really like this, even though I don't think it's quite as good as some of your other pictures... Well, in ways. I think the figures of Ron and Harry aren't quite as beautiful as some of your other renditions, but the atmosphere of this piece is really beautiful. I love the water effect, and the mermen figures in the background. So, while I don't think Harry and Ron are as pretty as you usually make them, the picture itself is quite beautiful and, most admirable of all, the atmosphere of the picture is both ominous and beautiful and catches the mood of this scene in a way that the book barely touched on. So... Yeah, overall, I really like it.
