FanArt: LOEG: Miss Wilhelmina Murray

Fanart for the comic series The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which was written by Alan Moore, and based on famous Victorian literary characters. My favorite character is Miss Murray, who you may know as 'that chick from Dracula'. The submarine in the background is the Nautilus. I still can't decide if she's standing on a bridge, or on the deck of an airship plummeting into the ocean. This may not be perfect, but I'm really really happy with it. *_*

Miss Wilhelmina Murray is a worthy representative of English womanhood (more than a match for any Johnny Foreigner with un-Christian designs on Old Blighty!) and my favourite 'gentleman'. Curiously, the Oriental/Japonaiserie influence works in the portrait's favour. In short: this is an absolute corker, and no mistake. God save the Queen!
