FanArt: Luna and the Thestral

This is actually an updated version of the older drawing I had in my gallery. Since I drew the old one last September, I felt I had to renew it a bit. And if you didn't guess, it's Luna Lovegood sitting on a Thestral, right before the flight to the Ministry of Magic. (From Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.)

1 Nov 2005	Sarah	Loading... Love the thestral, except the front legs have an extra joint. grin Think human arms. We're all built essentially the same. And humans don't have two shoulders. Other than that, though, I love this take on the critters. I've never quite been able to picture them, myself.
