FanArt: Twelve years in Azkaban

Yeah, sucks to be Sirius. This is the day that he sees the Daily Prophet that Fudge is holding and he actually shows a bit more emotion than usual. I was really sick of all the 'bishy' Sirius fanart when he had just spent twelve years in the worst prison imaginable. I don't think silky, shiny, black, shoulder-length locks of hair quite cut it as 'matted hair down to his elbows'. And he was supposed to be gaunt and thin, if not downright frightening, not soft-skinned and clean-shaven. So, here he is. My Sirius Black.

Very good, i like this one, a nice depiction of sirius, or if 12 years in the worst prison ever can be nice...yeah

Go details. And you're absolutely right, of course, about the "matted hair down to his elbows" thing. It's hard for me to picture him with facial hair, admittedly, but I totally agree that he WOULD have a beard, unless he'd gotten into a Hair-Banishing charm when he was a teen or something... Poor Sirius, I don't envy him his location... nother great piccie, Ash, love that expression and the dark moodiness of it all. Kudos to you and Sirius. *steals his boots*

I love this picture. Personally, I reckon that if he'd been there twelve years, he'd have dreadlocks by then. *imagines Sirius with dreadlocks, then runs off to find her pencils*

To bad, girlie! You still made him look downright sexah! *wink* *grin* Awesome detail. Keep up the good work!

It took me a while to place the expression on his face but I finally succeeded. He looks like the dogs at the pound. He's got the take me home and love me look. You know the big scary ones that stay there for years and years because everybody always goes for the cute ones but they're still lonely? That's how he looks. Wow. Just wow.

I like how you drew his feet. There shaped nicely. The backround does look like a prison. Poor sirius. Look at him just sitting there.(unlocks the gate and flies away with him on the hiffogriff) (bad spelling I know, but what can you do, all well.) nice picture.

*Gives sirius his bike and a pair of black leather pants* Okay, I'll bust you out if you take me out on your hog for a bit.
Very good picture!! I love all of it... =D
(hog = bike. learn the terms before you make assumptions xD)

I totally agree with you. That good-looking,unrealistic,cutie Sirius is getting on my nerves! As well as the fact that almost NO ONE draws him with very long hair.Hello!"ELBOW-LENGHT TANGLE"!
The only thing in your picture I don't really like is the background because it looks more like a padded, asylum wall than a prison.Otherwise, well done!
