FanArt: Deckard VS Pris

The inspiration for this picture comes from the completely awesome movie Bladerunner starring Harrison Ford. I didn't use any reference here just some imagination so please don't point out that these characters don't look like the ones in the movie... I KNOW they don't they aren't supposed to. Anyhoo... the main character with the pistol is Deckard who is hunting the spikey haired face painted replicant Pris who is hiding just behind him to the left.

Elfwood rules for fanart require the names of all the characters involved but as far as I know the other characters either do not have names or I made up completely for this picture. I know the short German type army dude was wandering around in the movie but he doesn't have a name that I'm aware of. The other characters are meant to represent the toys that movie character J. F. Sebastian ( not pictured )would build in his home.

I was initially excited about this picture but got rather bored with it and started to like it less and less the longer I worked on it. Part of it has to do with the shading which became tedious and really isn't my sort of style but hey, I spent so much time on this sucker that I just had to upload it. Lemme Know whatcha think!

Ahh, the wonderful world of Bladerunner. You have done a wonderful interpretation of it, Arthur 2 You can actually feel the tension in Deckard as he is searching for Pris here, unknowing that she standing right there, observing his every move... Damn! Now you made me want to see this movie again 2 Great work, as always, Arthur. Oh! Btw, the Angelique tour has been updated 12

:-) Arthur L. Williamson replies: "Sigh... The idea seemed so much better than the finished drawing. I think I just overworked this picture too much... or took too long to work on it. Something. Well, if nothing else it does make one think about the movie and that's all right!

Saw the updated tour. It looks great! I have one more Angelique picture waiting to be posted and then I will quit bothering you with my own renditions of Angelique! I must admit a certain attraction to the character. Its a great idea and design! "

one of my favorite parts of the film and you have captured it perfectly.Great shading and you did a great job with J.T's toys!! Wonderful work.

8 Arthur L. Williamson replies: "  I really despise this picture now, but I appreciate your comments! I somehow feel that I failed to do the movie justice which is very possible because the movie is so excellent. Thanks for dropping by though!"
