FanArt: The Boy Who Lived

Harry Potter, as I imagine him, a month or so before his eleventh birthday. He is the first of a series of Harry Potter-related characters in a similar style, more to come on that one. I want to change the perspective in this one ever so slightly; add depth ... and fix that stair. We'll see how far I get on that. :)

26 Oct 2002	Sara Kristiina Albrecht	Loading... Yeah, i like that a lot! This has much more the mood of how i imagined harry to be, more thoughtful, more serious, actually an almost dramatic character. The movie harry or book drawings were much to cute and smooth.

I love the way you worked with the folds in the blankets and his baggy clothes. I actually almost like the stairs the way they are.....they add a sort of abstract, almost symbolic feel of claustrophobia to the whole picture. I have to say this is one of my favorite pieces of HP art, and believe me, I've seen a lot of it. Excellent work.
