FanArt: Faith parth three

and poof! it was colored! no ink for the outlines, just color over raw pencil, i think it came out ok, though the colors seem almost too much, too heavy somehow. alas, while i like this pic, i still like the first sketch the best. i'm a sucker for pencils, deep down. (and yum, faith! the reason i got hooked on the show, ya gotta love a bad girl.)

She is one of my favorites on BTVS as well (and it's a shame the actress decided not to continue the series, but oh well) Anyhoo, I liked how you included the step-by-step process of creating this peice!!! Shows all your hard work! I realize I sound redundant from my comments on your other drawings, but you draw poses for your characters so well!!! Karsten R. Peterson replies: " Oh I know! When I saw she was on Angel recently I jumped for joy (and I've never been an Angel fan, but you can bet I was glued to the set!) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a few more guest shots of Buffy here soon. And no worries about sounding redundant, I appreciate any input I can get, so thank you again!"
3 Apr 2003	Wicciana	Loading... nice pic! I love BTVS too! Love the shading on her jacket! I've got a little question though. Why didn't you draw and colour the outlines of her hair? It looks a little bit weird to me. Was it meant to be this way for some reason? or is it your style or something? or something else? Karsten R. Peterson replies: "thanks. i was in a mood where ever girl with dark hair i drew had a dark background and i just blended them, no distinguishing from the background at all. dunno why, just did that for a while. "
