FanArt: Squall

I was really inspired by those flashbacks Squall had of standing alone in the rain at the Orphanage..^^ it was just such a cute concept that I had to try drawing it. The background was supposed to give off a watery feeling... but I guess it's too.. O_o ..stiff.. LoL.. maybe waterfalls, frozen.. LoL..

Oh, and I do realize that porportions may be a little off, but that's after I finished CGing this and since it was really a rough sketch to start with, I'm not going to go back and redo this.

And I think the reason it doesn't feel as watery as you wanted it to is because the color of his clothes is far too bright. When it is raining outside, all of the normally bright colors seem much duller than usual. I hope that helps a little for when you're working on more wonderful pieces! laughs Oh and I read your bio for your fantasy gallery, and it made me smile; another l'Arc~en~ciel fan! And I was -going- to go to Otakon...but then my parents said it was too far, as I live further up north from it. Too bad.
