FanArt: Ookami Darcia

Warning! This pic includes a spoiler! My favorite character from the anime Wolf's Rain: Darcia(don't you just love that name by the way)! Since I officially suck at drawing people I'll just have to draw him in his wolf-form.. Anyways, I love Darcia. And I don't think he's evil. Heartbroken and perhaps a little mad, sure, but not evil...

Honestly - this is a nice picture. However the proportions seem a bit off on his face. And (to nitpick) the wolf's eye he always had was a cold and didn't have the same expression as his human one. xP

I like how you draw your canines though - nice job! =D

1 Sylvia Peltomäki replies: "True about the face, but as for the eye, I meant it to look different than in the actual anime because I wanted him to look serene."

Random internet passerby in a search for pictures of Darcia while bored at work. Not a bad picture at all! Nice work there.

Am I the only one that thinks 12-15 year olds are a bit young to be watching an anime series of this style? Do your parents know what it's about?

As for Darcia, he may be insane near the end, but I think that's because he's supposed to represent Chaos in a world of good and evil. The grey area of life. His actions may be questionable but his desires are fairly pure; no reason to hate him as a character. 2

2 Sylvia Peltomäki replies: "Hey! He can't be held responsible, he was insane! 12"

What's wrong with being insane? What's wrong with being evil? I mean... there should be limits to it, but overall, the evil and insane are what keep the world interesting... but, anyway, the picture is great, as are they all.
Well done...

WOW! This kinda did contain spoilers, but I am almost at the end of the series, so no worries. I already even knew that he was a wolf, so.....nice job. All of your pics are really good. I draw all of these things, but I don’t think that they are nearly as good. And my cp ttly sucks so I can’t even upload them or anything. but ncie job anyways. =^^=
