| 10 May 2003 | Singe | Well, I think the mask is great. The hair appeals to me. I’ve always liked the wild look. The mask itself reminds me of the one Darth Vader wore (in Star Wars), only there are no slits in the mouth piece, as there were in Vader’s mask. My point being there are undeniable differences, that’s true, but the mask still reminds me of that character’s signature. Oh well. That’s just me and my memories. The other thing is that if there were a man (or woman, whatever), drawn behind the mask, the impression I have is that he/she would either be on a cliff or a hill, looking over his/her vast army, preparing them for the fight to come. The mask just shouts defiance, after all, which is almost always in the presence of an enemy, or more to the point to rally those forces that fight on one’s side. *grins* That must be why I like it so much. Defiance, courage, and a will to win. I just don’t know if it’s evil or not. Maybe in this instance it doesn’t really matter. Chris Eternal Blight replies: " Hey Singe, haven’t heard from ya in a while, guess I just needs to start adding more sexified artistic endeavors to this lil backwoods operation. Any who, I drew this for some odd reason, then made a t-shirt out of it for a commercial art class in 11th grade. Where in the dirt could I have left that shirt?" | |
