FanArt: Claire Fraser

Finally and at long last, I have attempted a picture of Claire to go with my pic of Jamie. It was only recently that I felt competent enough to attempt a pic of her. I think it turned out fairly well, and if it doesn't necessarily completely match my internal vision, well, she's surely pretty, anyway ;) For the art critics, yes I know her legs extend off the page. I did it on purpose, I think. And I think her right arm is a little long...oh well :)

Scanning over the comments I hope you don't get discouraged by all the comments of "that's not how I picture them!" It's damn impossible to match everyone's idea of a character, really.

That being said, it's a wonderful piece of art and I like all of your Gabaldon pieces!

She looks like she's watching Jamie doing something... Jamie-esque. Messing around with Fergus or Ian, maybe. Or working with the horses. I love her expression, and her pose, and her gown is gorgeous.

Such a pretty Sassenach.

Your draw is beautiful, but for me Claire is not like that, for me she's more ''sexy''

i am very sorry for saying this, but she kinda looks like a man (because of the thick neck) and i imagined her more... more... not skinny, but more... tall so i think it should of made her more skinny. bad explination, eh? well, besides that, i think u captured her eyes perfectly!

Exellent drawing!

Another lovely picture! I love looking at you Outlander inspired drawings. They are all very nice! I, as well, hope you don't get discouraged by the negative feedback. We all have our own notion of what they all look like in our minds. If it were up to me, I think she'd be plumper. After all, we know Jamie likes her plump round arse!! Keep up the great work!

I like how you did the eyes, since they were gold, but I felt like your version is a little too plain looking, and her hair was of a much darker shade, almost a black brown, not so light.

Aaah, the heroine of the books, claire. Beautiful green eyes!

I don’t know who Claire is, but I think part of the "man" problem you’re hearing about is because of her rather dominant pectoral muscles. Her breasts were drawn too far down on her torso, you see, so it makes the chest muscles, in conjunction with the flexed neck, seem that much more dominant in the picture. Also, I think her breasts are a little too far apart, which adds to the separation in the pecs that you see on people with developed muscles.
