FanArt: Platform nine and three-quarters

As the train finally pulls away from the station Mrs. Weasley waves and wonders what in the world she's going to do now that all of the kids are away at school. Maybe she'll take that advanced knitting class she's been meaning to take for years.

This started out as a doodle in painter and some how took on a life of it's own. I really wasn't meaning to do any Harry Potter fan art at the time. My only complaint is that she really doesn't look old enough to have raised 7 children.

Medium: Painter 5

You know, if I hadn't seen you working on this in the lab yesterday AND I didn't bother to read the desccription, I would have guessed this was watercolor before I'd guessed digital. The colors came out very nice, I especially some of the textures - like those bricks 1 heheh, and I like the green dress with purple dots and a purple coat, that's a terribly eccentric taste in clothing Mrs. Weasley has XD

On a side-note, JKR says Mrs. Weasley's maiden name was Prewett. That looks like you put a lot of effort into that. Good job.

Nice work, the most iv done in painter was a week or two in drawing class, harder than it looks. Nice job

I like it! I agree that she looks too young, and I don't think Mrs. Weasley has red hair, just Mr. Weasley, but it's hard to imagine her with anything else isn't it....this is cool though. It does look like watercolor.
