I think these portraits are very well done but I have to rebutt Elaine O'Leary's comment from back on May 25 of 2003, if you're truly a Trek fan you'll remember the movie called First Contact where the Borg went back in time to try and stop Cochran's first warp ship from launching. The Enterprise 'E' under Picard followed the Borg back and destroyed their spherical ship, no doubt sending pieces of it and borg crew crashing to the surface of Earth. The story in the resent 'Enterprise' episode was, at least I believe, an excellent way to bring the story to a kind of paradoxical closure. If you remember the ending of that episode T'Pol told Archer that the transmission that the borg made would take at least 200 years to reach borg space in the Delta quadrant which would put it in the 24th century, or at the time Q introduced Picard to the borg. The nice thing about Star Trek is that the only thing limiting it is your imagination.

This is not to you but rather to Elaine "Alriadne" O'leary. At no time (no, not once) were the Borg identified as the Borg. They do not begin their infamous statement of assimilation with "We are the Borg". There weren't any El-Aurians in the episode nor did Q make an appearance (although I really wish he had). This is exactly like the episode with the Ferengi. They were not identified as such, so officially, the NCC-1701-D was the first Starfleet vessel to encounter the Ferengi because they knew them as such. It is the same case with the Borg. Please forward this to Elaine O'leary because I do not know how to.

Neat. The shading is rather splotchy though. You probably need a little more contrast between darks and lights. Also you may want to try a blening stick and not your finger. But, it is a nice start! I'm so glad there's more Trekkies in the woods.

I don't like star trek but I'm not saying that the art work is bad but I know a friend that would really love the pic
instead of just thinking it's OK

Kirk’s in the wrong spot. Should be from front to back: Kirk, Picard, Janeway and then Sisko. Kirk should always be in front. Nice pic though. Are there more?
