Don't worry, Dryad turned out all right. Really like the drawing, lots of detail...*cries* WHY CAN'T I DRAW LIKE THAT!? WHY!?
*laugh* I'm a hopeless video game junkie. I play them morning, noon, and night. Okay, so maybe not the morning, but...

Wow, I love this picture! It is one of the best fan arts I 've ever seen! This definetly deserves a Mod's Choice. I love the effects you put in here. Thanks for answering my question on what 's your favorite character in Fire Emblem. Some other artists don 't write back comments people make. When you write back comments it 's just more, you know, friendly, like showing that you care for your fans. Anyway, thanks. By the way, did you do that in watercolors? Amazing. Can you give me a few pointers on how to outline (ink) the pictures? Do you do it before you paint or after? What kind of pen do you use? I 'd appreciate it! Once again, hope I 'm not asking too much.

:-) Charissa 'Renah' Gascho replies: "^.^ thank you. Anyways, yeah, that's watercolours. I do the inking before painting - and I use a waterproof ink (I think it's Stadtler brand pigment liner - I hope I spelt the brand right -__-; ). I first use pencil on the watercolor paper, then ink. I think the best tip for inking is to take it slowly first - and don't be shy about moving the paper around when you have to do curves - flip it upside down even - this is so curves are more comfortable to ink, and will be smoother looking. Also - use some thicker and thin lines to give the drawing some personality - thick on where shadows would be, thin where lighting might hit. Or, you could just do thicker lines on the outside of the character - whatever the style you want to create. Take your time, and practice pays off... if all fails... cheat (shhhhhhh......) After the painting is done, you can go in with acrylic paint, and touch up bad inked lines ^^;; even mroe cheating.. use photoshop/any other program and touch it up (for online posting) lol... *shifty eyed* but, if you prepare well with pencil lines, and have lots of practice, it will go well. I don't mind answer questions at all - it's fun! ^.^ "

I love that. The outfit and staff rock. How do you make those glowy star thingies? Thanks! (E-Mail me back please.)

:-) Charissa 'Renah' Gascho replies: "I used photoshop for those glowy things. I already had the picture completed (watercolour then scanned) then I took the eraser in photoshop -- then choosed the one that is fuzzy on the edges (alternatively, you can make your own by "editing or add brush-- whatever its' called" then I just did a buncha eraser circles. Alternatively, the filter options have other ways to do glowy things, but are harder to control.btw, I used a really old verison of photoshop (verison 5) - these options would definatly be on the new one."
