FanArt: Final Fantasy V: Faris Scherwiz

Just a little first try at some clear line art, as I tend to do nothing but use the smudge tool! Plenty of irregularities, but I can't be bothered wrestling with my sticky mouse anymore so the chances of them being fixed are minimal ;)

The subject is Faris Scherwiz, my favourite character from Final Fantasy V. She is the captain of a band of pirates and joins the others when they try to run away with her ship.

Final Fantasy V is the best of them all! Besides nine that is. But yeah, great pic and stuff. I would have to say that Reina is my favorite character in Final Fantasy V but Bartz is cool too. I like the line art. I have never tried it but want to.

:-) Cherokee P.C. Kevaan replies: "Thank you very much! I think I may try a bit more line art in the future as it was quite fun today. I liked Bartz/Butz too, but not really Lenna/Reina."

Final Fantasy 5 is pretty good, I haven't beaten it yet though. And I agree, faris IS the coolest. Haha, everyone thought she was a boy in the beginning. Anyway, this does look to me like good lineart, don't complain. The only thing that looks a .little. off is the fact that her hair isn't outlined darkyl like the rest.

:-) Cherokee P.C. Kevaan replies: "Hmm...hadn't noticed that! Thanks for pointing it out 2"

Nice job; I avoid drawing with my mouse whenever possible, so my hat's off to you. Personally, I wouldn't have placed those lines in the skirt of the jacket. I think it would be pretty heavy, so if there were any folds, they'd be deeper and longer. Nice job on the armor though, and I like the overall simplicity.I just beat FF5 but Faris was my favorite long before I played the game. (Hee hee, I let the girls fight as samurais and lancers and kept Bartz in the backrow as a time mage for most of the latter half).

By the way, where'd you learn her last name?
