FanArt: Red Sonya VS. Taarna (Heavy Metal)

Here is a commission of two of the most legendary female fighters ever created. Red Sonya, the red haired she devil from the world of Robert E. Howard, and Taarna, last of the Taraknian warriors, defender of life and avenger of the innocent. Here they stand on a bridge of rocks, suspended over a river of green slime, locked in a final battle to the death. The green glow of the evil Loc-Nar shines on observantly from a volcanoe in the background, and maliciously dominates the thoughts of the otherwise benevolent Sonya. Who will win in this ultimate battle of good versus evil? I put a lot of work into this, and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks.

19 Sep 2005	Edmond Barrett	Loading... The quality is very good but in the spirit of constructive criticism I have to say the poses look a bit odd. They don't really look as if they are about to go at each other with swords. In fact I'd say green goo wrestling looks like more of a possibility.

2 Apr 2008	David J Sprague	Loading... great job capturing both characters. to everyone who thinks its sexist, this is the way both of these characters looked in their movies. there is a certain alure of a scantily clad woman wielding a weapon. men are supposed to be brutes but if you need scantily clad men check out boris vallejo most of his men are that way.
