FanArt: Blaze

This is a picture of a pyrokinetic character that a friend of mine came up with, and since I'm the resident artist for my roleplaying group, I got to draw her. :) She was drawn on bristol board, using pencil, then inked in and colored with Prismacolor markers and colored pencils. This pic was drawn sometime in early 2000 and was matted and framed and hanging on my wall. I just recently took it out and scanned it, added a quick background and stuff in Photoshop, and so...here it is.

I really like the color of the background, it looks like a fire is about to explode through the wall. I also think the flame designs on her pants and shirt turned out wonderfully. It would have been nice to see some shading on the body, but it certainly doesn't take anything away from the piece. Can't wait to see more of your stuff to pop up (but what can I say, I've been here for years and still haven't filled up my galleries ~lol~)
