FanArt: Ginny's staircaseGinny Weasley walking up on floating tiles (I'm not quite sure why, though...) It's not quite done yet, but I wanted to hear you're opinions. original: graphite 2HB Mech. pencil colored: Photoshop Elements | |
 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 9 Sep 2003 | Just trip | I think it's really cool! The colors ane textures are great; this style *really* suits you! And of course, who doesn't love a floating staircase? I'd like to see more like this! Ana Maria Vascan replies: "Yay! thanks! The marble was a bit of the a cheat though... i took a green marble square from Word into Photoshop Elements, changed it, used about 200 layers or so, and made a wall.*Happy*" | |
| 29 Dec 2003 | Katie | COOL!!!!!! I LLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV IIITTTTTTTTT!!!!!! tell me how to use a printer again.... Ana Maria Vascan replies: "Umm, thanx! Photoshop takes 4-evr...dear, each printer comes with a manual... read it, learn it, then press "print"" | |
| 10 Apr 2004 | Red | WOW this is really good. She looks like she's in a trance..which i might add is very cool! I like the smoke very original! I like her cloak! great job! Ana Maria Vascan replies: "Thank you very much! I like this one as well, despite some oddities... The cloak was being uncooperative, so it's pretty rough, so I'm very glad that you like! Yay!" | |
| 11 Apr 2004 | Anonymous | OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH ! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD ! Yes I know, I love capital letters. But it's just so great ! I love it. Ana Maria Vascan replies: "Hehehe! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" | |
| 22 May 2004 | Anonymous | Loooooooooooooooooooooove It! I'd like to know, is she in a trance? and where are those stairs leading to? Ana Maria Vascan replies: "Oooo. Wouldn't you like to know... Well... Hmm.... Uh... I'm not telling (because I don't have a story for her) and yes, she's supposed to be in a trance..." | |
| 30 Jun 2004 | Happi Froggi | Oh, but I just realized the one problem... the handrail goes straight... and the stairs go up. Ana Maria Vascan replies: "Well... *eyes sparkle* That's part of the story *which she actually wrote out! Summer is good for that...* it ISN'T a handrail.. it's just a sort of trim on the walls... And the stairs are tiles (even though, yes, they are blue and the floor is white marble now...) that float on this mysterious smoke... "Hmmm," mused Ginny, "I don't remember there being a --- staircase---- here---"" | |
| 30 Jun 2004 | Happi Froggi | She does look like she's in a trance... or in the middle of realizing something very important. Anyway, that's much more like Ginny that I imagine than that lass who plays her in the movies. Hmm. I'd like to see the finished version, sometime, too... this is awesome. Ana Maria Vascan replies: "No, I don't find film-Ginny very to-the-character either... I have a teensy problem now, though... Someone *we'll not mention names...yet* went through and DELETED most all of my Photoshop files, to "make room" for some junk or another that I didn't need. Therefore, to finish, I have to play around with the JPG for a loooong time. *weeps* Oh well." | |
| 5 Aug 2004 | Miss Tiny | Wow! This is really great! The coloring is done very well. And I love her facial expression. She seems a bit tense, scared, maybe? I like her hair too! Curly! That is how I imagined it also! Great idea for the staircase. Keep it up! Ana Maria Vascan replies: "<(^_^)> Yay! Thank-yee!Weasleys should be curly-haired I say!! This is just another of my rouge ideas (like the staircase itself, hehe), so, again, thanks.Drawing her face was a bit of an interesting process, as the pic had no plan, but I like how it turned out!Bye-bye!" | |
| 26 Jan 2005 | Selki | I realy like it! I am twelve and I am realy impressed you are so good at 13. I think that she is much better than the girl in the movie cos she wos ugly :-( | |
| 29 Jul 2005 | Ida | She sure looks like a hottie! This is really good. You make it look so easy to paint and draw. | |
